Our Client in Detroit, MI is looking for a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer- Onsite

Responsibilities and/or Duties:

  • Work with technical project managers to identify project scope, establish budgets, and develop project schedules
  • Author hardware and system documentation including specifications, schematics, BOMs, etc.
  • Develop custom hardware solutions in both team and lone environments
  • Identify hardware tools and techniques that will benefit the project
  • Research and identify potential system components
  • Manage hardware and system documentation

Qualifications:
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in EE or CE (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3 to 5 years of hardware design experience.
  • Preferred experience with Altium SW
  • Interface with customers, engineers, and technical project managers to develop hardware requirements, schedules and budgets
  • Motivated, with ability to work with minimal guidance
  • Automotive module development cycle, deliverables and required documentation and verification
  • Automotive Communication physical layers (CAN, CANFD, LIN, Ethernet),
  • Emphasis in automotive hardware design techniques
  • Experience designing for microcontroller and digital logic control systems
  • Experience designing analog and digital I/O circuitry
  • Debugging skills including utilization of logic analyzers, DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Prototype and production oriented design experience
  • CAD tool experience and schematic capture. Dx Designer experience and Express PCB Visio Diagrams, a plus.
  • Experience in design & deployment of Hard-In the-Loop Simulators. Good working knowledge of Vehicle wiring harness for Cars & Trucks.
