2nd and 3rd Shift Controls PLC Electrican for a Client In Southfield Michigan.

Duties include: installing, programming, calibrating, and commissioning various electrical/instrumentation devices including variable frequency drives, level transmitters, flow meters, radios, power monitoring equipment, and PLCs.

  • Developing electrical and electronic system designs, plans, specifications, wiring schematics, and basic one-line diagrams.
  • Assisting in the startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the process control system, including correcting problems with communications, field process variables, or design engineering.
  • Their responsibilities also include but not limited to repairing electrical equipment like industrial fans motors, CNC machines, drives Servos and Dial machines, cranes.
  • Must be able to read prints, work with CNC machines and knowledge of systems required to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair metalworking and CNC machine tools.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic networks and fiber splicing with a fusion or mechanical splicer.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as required. An employee in this class is required to use appropriate safety
  • Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate‚Äôs Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
  • They must browse blueprints and follow diagrams of circuits and wiring, and use many various hand and diagnostic tools in testing and fixing equipment. They may work individually or as part of a team
  • Experience in Automation,
  • Must be able to use basic tools and machinery!
