• Perform Server hardware installation and management, storage area network management and administration, server virtual operating system administration, Citrix XenApp management, Microsoft Active Directory administration, DNS, DHCP, disaster recovery/business continuity software and procedure management, and administration and troubleshooting for Cisco Unified Communications systems.
• Working effectively with the Network Services team, the Network Services Specialist III will perform the following tasks:
• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and its associated software.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of the Data Centers and network hardware and software.
• Monitor network security and take steps to eliminate problems.
• Review and analyze computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if the service goals are being met.
• Monitor, measure and correct system performance issues.
• Complete all computer room maintenance which may include: air conditioning and fire protection systems.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software maintenance contracts for all server equipment.
• Provide telephone and onsite support to regional staff.
• Assist with planning and implementation of other projects, as assigned.
