We are currently searching for three (3) Program Managers with previous Nissan Launch experience for a 12+ month contract assignment outside of Nashville, TN.

10+ years of experience in program management / manufacturing engineering / quality engineering and the ability to lead a team.

Job Summary:

The Launch Program Manager will be a Project Leader in the Program Management and APQP process. The Launch Program Manager will provide continuous Engineering support to Production.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Education (Undergraduate Degree) in either Engineering, Manufacturing,Tooling or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing/ tooling
  • Minimum 3 years program management experience
  • Strong time management skills
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Extensive knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, UG)

Essential Functions:

  • The Launch Program Manager will act as project leader in the program management and APQP process
  • Determine and monitor all project goals and KPI's including Safety, Quality, Budget and On-Time Delivery
  • The Launch Program Manager will develop and conduct project feasibility studies for designs and achieve key milestone dates
  • Document project management checklist and approvals
  • Requisition tooling, capital and try out material for projects
  • The Launch Program Manager will be the main point of contact between the plant and the Customer
  • Accountable for all facets of the project from Tool Design and Cell Layout to Run at Rate and Safe Launch
  • The Launch Program Manager will assist in preparing Quotations for both Engineering changes and new business
  • Value analysis and value engineering ideas
  • Champion the creation of PFMEA, Process Flow and Control Plan Documentation
  • Monitor and assist suppliers on meeting project goals
  • The Launch Program Manager will assess and implement continuous improvement projects, in relation to current or future project planning
