Our non profit client is seeking a TALENT ACQUISITION COORDINATOR for their office in Troy, MI

Temporary role - up to 6 months

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) will support the talent management process and lead the complete recruitment and onboarding process by providing general administrative support including scheduling foundation-wide candidate interviews, capturing and responding to basic candidate inquiries, updating candidate information, processing candidate applications via an applicant tracking system, and providing feedback to the human resources team.


  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities in ongoing support of comprehensive recruitment strategies, which include recruitment planning, job posting, coordinating initial assessments, scheduling interviews, coordinating campus relations activities, initiating background checks, hiring, and scheduling new employee orientation.
  • Interpret, explain and adhere to internal human resource policies relating to hiring and talent management.
  • Coordinate the company's relocation program.
  • Prepare, proofread and edit talent acquisition documents.
  • Support the implementation of the learning management system.
  • Manage new hire onboarding process.
  • Perform administrative duties as directed by the Director of Talent and Organizational Development to include creating ad hoc reports and data generation.
  • Support the human resource team by performing other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two to three years of experience in recruitment and employee onboarding.
• Knowledge in design of talent management strategies.
• Must have current knowledge and understanding of recruiting trends, current practices, and applicable hiring and employment laws and regulations.
• Experience utilizing social media to source and engage prospective candidates.
• Microsoft Office suite applications and HR technology (HRIS).
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably ADP.
• Must be creative, adaptive and have experience with web-based resources.
• Ability to interpret complex information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and flexible.
• Demonstrated ability and desire to take initiative to achieve project goals.
