Our client, a automotive supplier with offices in Auburn Hills MI, is seeking a full time OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR. This is a CONTRACT arrangement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive / greet visitors, secure visitors’ identity and direct them to the necessary party
  • Answer incoming calls to the corporate office general line and direct calls to necessary party or provide effective customer service to handle call
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail operations for corporate office
  • Receive incoming shipments and assure delivery or pick up of shipments
  • Create outbound shipments via UPS, FedEx and DHL and create commercial invoices for international shipments
  • Set up reservations for teleconference calls and send meeting notices and agendas for staff meetings and board reviews, as necessary
  • Handle various travel arrangements and authorizations, as requested
  • Assist employees with various administrative tasks or projects as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or at least one year experience in an administrative role or office environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to perform a high level of effective internal and external customer service
  • Strength and skill in multi-tasking with the ability to adapt to change
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong initiative to volunteer to assist and help where needed
