Our client is looking for SALES BUSINESS ANALYST located in Metro Detroit

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Agent Registration/deactivation within the eSales quoting application.
  • Generating quotes within the eSales application.
  • Preparing quotes within the eCAR system for manual quotes.
  • Maintaining the data integrity of the eSales application.
  • Answer and assist Producers calls and emails regarding products and processes.
  • Assisting Account Executives in preparing new group submissions to underwriting and being the liaison between sales and underwriting for all requested information..
  • Adapt the audit and tax approach to the changing client environment.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting, auditing and tax concepts and apply them to client situations.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of successful health insurance sales or underwriting experience with an insurance carrier.
  • Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
  • Communicate the results of audit tax and consulting projects.
  • Familiarity with health plan operations and federal and state regulations.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of health plan options (HMO, PPO, CDHP).
  • Strong understanding of the sales process for commercial group sales.
  • Strong understanding of the underwriting process for commercial group sales is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field or an additional two (2) years of health insurance sales or underwriting experience with an insurance carrier may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
  • Must be a licensed Agent with the state of Michigan in Accident & Health insurance or acquire within 45 days of employment.
