Our client is looking for REPORTING FINANCIAL ANALYST located in Metro Detroit

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain loan system (s) to include: implementation of system upgrades, testing, change control, resolution of problems, and documentation.
  • Advise and train department personnel on the use of various software applications.
  • Use queries and/or software packages, compiles data, verify information, analyze data and generate reports.
  • Develop, update and maintain loan application software packages, automated systems, and programs for the Bank.
  • Develop, document and run test scripts for system enhancements, patches and upgrades.
  • Perform system maintenance to ensure continued adherence to established Bank guidelines, audit system output to ensure integrity and accuracy of data and consults with the IT department as necessary.
  • Provide support to the department problem resolution process and represent department in meetings and on project teams as required.
  • Developing processes for use with application software packages
  • Investigating and resolving production problems affecting accuracy of reporting
  • Data validation to ensure reports are accurate
  • Mortgage loan products, services, pricing, and regulatory issues
  • Consumer loan products, services, pricing, and regulatory issues
  • Deposit products, services, pricing and regulatory issues

EXPERIENCE

  • Utilizing user programming languages and software packages (i.e. Openclose, CRIF, EllieMae, Fiserv, FIS, PeopleSoft)
  • Analyzing, testing, implementing and documenting loan and deposit systems and programs
  • Direct internal customer contact and interacting with all levels of employees/managers/vendors
  • Developing models for managing workflow
  • Developing reporting procedures for the development of deposit and loan reports (mortgage and consumer)
  • Investigating and resolving operational production problems in conjunction with the operations staff
  • Developing annual plan and interim forecasts for deposits and loans (mortgage and consumer)
  • PC software applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access, R, SAAS, Business Analytics or other report writing tool)
  • Documentation of automated processing systems

Ability to:

  • Assist IT and vendors in the installation/upgrades of automated processing systems
  • Develop loan and deposit reporting procedures which could impact processing procedures
  • Develop and revise department/technology processes and procedures
  • Document and resolve problems
  • Validate data in reports for accuracy

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field and/or Technology Certification
