Our Client in Auburn Hills , MI is looking for a Electrical Integration Engineer- E mobility


  • 5-10 years’ experience in integration programs for Hybrid and EV application with good EE background
  • Must have strong fundamentals in electrical power distribution within a vehicle electrical architecture, electrical systems design that include
  • High voltage, Low voltage, Network and PDU
  • High voltage safety EMI and EMC Must be well versed in designing electrical wiring schematics for safe system integration
  • Must have strong knowledge vehicle electrical design, testing, build and verification process experience.
  • Must be able to design and implement DVPV for electrical wiring and power distribution architectures
  • Strong know-how in wire specification, harness specification, harness build, connector definition, testing, sign off process.
  • Strong know-ho in harness certification for IEEE and EMI standards is critical.
  • Power net design, Power distribution unit, wiring, safety HVIL etc.
  • Must be able to design junction boxes, power distribution boxes and fuse boxes
  • Must know the integration requirements of the high voltage devices Battery, DCDC, OBC, Inverter, E-Drive etc.
  • Good understanding of electric vehicle drive components and energy storage system
  • E-Motors, Inverters, Battery, Charger, DC/DC
  • Should have an excellent knowledge in High-Voltage safety of batteries and electrical wiring
  • Strong knowledge in Electric Vehicle architecture, controls and testing Strong knowledge in automotive Network design (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)Must be able to lead technically and provide guidance
  • Must be able to propose solutions
  • Should be able to prepare good documentation of the design
  • Professional communication skills to interact with customers
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required Candidates with Master's degree preferred Experience in automotive industry preferred Understanding of the following tools used in automotive applications E3, Vision, Vector CANape, CANalyzer Know-how on using electrical system tools Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Isolation tester, Crimping tools etc.
