Job Purpose: Responsible for unifying and maintaining the IT infrastructure across the entities of Heartland Home Services. This includes hardware, software, cyber security, asset administration, training, and other duties across brands.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Help recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department
• Oversee the daily workflow and functionality of technology company wide at a high level
• Assist in handling discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
• Audit newly acquired companies and develop transition plans for infrastructure integration

Essential Functions:
1. Lead and manage IT Infrastructure across all locations of a growing and acquisitive business. Including telecommunications & infrastructure plans, projects, policies, and procedures.
2. Develop and execute on strategic vision for infrastructure to accommodate existing business and be a foundation for future organic and inorganic growth. Participate in capacity planning including forecasting of needs for future infrastructure related purchases.
3. As required, consolidate into a shared IT infrastructure that can provide enterprise-wide visibility and accommodate future organic and inorganic growth.
4. Generally, help company scale with no degradation of performance or risk profile.
5. Develop written and formal disaster recovery plans and test/practice the process; and assist in business continuity planning and support.
6. Contemplate, build, and support migration to a single cloud-based environment as needed.
7. Negotiate and administer IT infrastructure vendor/outsource contracts and service agreements as it relates to IT infrastructure spend. Identify and execute on any opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings across the enterprise.
8. Implement a common set of improved security practices across businesses. Ensure systems and applications conform to various information privacy and security regulations and policies.
9. Monitor system and network performance and tune as necessary. Troubleshoot and repair network, voice & security related problems.
10. Help coordinate system upgrades, maintain optimal performance, and ensure appropriate levels of system redundancy are sustained for physical and virtual infrastructures.
11. Performs other duties as required.

Job Specifications:
1. Knowledge & Skills Required:
• Experience in smaller companies with small IT organizations.
• Experience with highly acquisitive companies and onboarding of new acquisitions.
• Experience with consolidating and optimizing IT infrastructure, procedures, policies.
• Experience with management of third-party vendors.
• Potential / runway to support a larger, growing enterprise.
• Experience developing and strengthening disaster recovery plans in a smaller business environment.
• 8 + years of IT experience, preferably with some of that time in a similar industry.
• 3 + years in a leadership or management role.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT based program
• Demonstrated ability to work various members of the Management Team of an organization, and to manage multiple concurrent projects.

3. Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• The ability to work extra hours, beyond regular schedule, to complete work assignments as required.
