- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
- Ensure that all safety requirements and guidelines are being followed in order to provide a safe and productive working environment for our employees
- Control production output, inventory levels, product quality and on-time shipping in order to meet or exceed customer requirements
- Set work schedules and organize/motivate staff to run at peak efficiencies
- Employee orientation and training
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Participate in APQP program
- Assist in System and Procedures Development
- Ensure that maintenance procedures are followed and completed on a timely basis to ensure manufacturing equipment runs at peak performance
- Participate in the recruiting of new production personnel
- Implementation of Company Policies and Procedures
- Investigate and make recommendations for capital equipment expenditures
- Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
- Implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices that improve processes and reduce costs
- Participate in continuous improvement and implementation of employee suggestions

Beneficial Skills:
- Proven work experience as a production or plant manager
- Background experience and technical expertise in small diameter tube fabrication
- Familiarity with tubing industry fabrication equipment
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
- Ability to ensure accountability and to lead by example
- Mechanical Engineering background
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S organization methodology
- Computer literacy
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or comparable discipline
- A minimum of 3 years’ automotive parts manufacturing experience in a supervisory role
