You’ll be working collaboratively with a geographically distributed team. Here are some of the things that you can expect to be doing day-to-day:

  • Plan and facilitate user research activities as needed - including interviews, observation, usability testing, surveys, and analytics
  • Synthesize research activities into meaningful, digestible artifacts and insights
  • Brainstorm and create wireframes, mockups, and similar artifacts that clearly communicate design ideas to the rest of the organization
  • Bring simplicity to complex design challenges and user scenarios
  • Work with the UX Team in building and maintaining a design system
  • Promote design standards and articulate design principles with Product Management, the UX team and the Development team.
  • Solve design problems through teamwork, open collaboration, and consensus-building
  • Evangelize the importance of user experience and human centered design throughout the entire organization
  • Assist Developers and Product Owners with design and quality assurance to ensure the finished product meets the design goals
  • Stay current with UI trends and innovations
  • Demo your work to stakeholders, effectively communicating design ideas and soliciting feedback

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a UI/UX Design role, preferably working with an enterprise-focused/B2B application
  • Experience with responsive design in the context of web applications and mobile UI
  • Passion for solving big and complicated design problems
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and internationalization design principles
  • Experience with a variety of wireframing, prototyping, and visual design tools like Sketch, the Adobe Suite, Balsamiq Mockups, and InVision
  • Ability to clearly express justifications for your designs, and know how to effectively give design feedback to others
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with a small, distributed design team
