Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a Consolidations Manager to add to their dynamic and growing team. This is a great leadership opportunity that will grow your skills in leadership, finance and accounting. The Consolidations, Manager position provides leadership and direction for a broad range of duties within Finance including accounting, system expertise, partner service levels, ad hoc financial analysis, standardized process oversight and optimization and team member talent development.

Responsibilities will include leading the consolidation close procedures, supporting global Hyperion Finance Management (HFM) users, and special projects, including system upgrades and implementations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate financial reporting each month-end
  • Coordinates the financial information preparation with home office departments and the global business units
  • Reviews and analyzes consolidating journal entries
  • Analyzes consolidated results for both actual and forecasted results
  • Provides subject matter expertise in key areas, including acquisitions, divestitures, and the adoption of new accounting principles, among others
  • Co-leads HFM system upgrades and implementations
  • Supervises the US census and other government survey processes
  • Identifies and leads Continuous Improvement activities related to accounting, analysis, reporting and service

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
  • Master’s degree/Certification preferred, not required
  • Minimum 7 years of meaningful financial experience in accounting/consolidations.
  • Public accounting or internal audit experience preferred.
  • Proficient skills in HFM and Excel is required.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving, teaming, prioritization, project management and service minded skills and attributes.
