The Help Desk Administrator is responsible for managing the Help Desk ticket system including ticket delegation, follow up, and completion for all tickets pertaining to internal support and the Appraisal Management Platforms. Internal support consists of hardware and software troubleshooting, hardware and software deployment, responding to security alerts, and general staff assistance. The Help Desk Administrator is also responsible for leading and assisting the Director of Information Systems with major projects and network upgrades.

Requirements of the Help Desk Administrator

  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  • Tech savvy with working Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
  • College Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Administrator

  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule help desk activities to ensure maximum issue resolution in minimum time
  • Responding to, and managing, the Help Desk ticket system trouble tickets
  • Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Training and guiding Help Desk Technicians with their work
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Regular attendance is a requirement
