Seeking a Field Lead in Memphis, TN for a DIRECT HIRE position.

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Industrial & Field Services the Field Lead directs all the operations of the IS Division within company guidelines while adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, this position is ultimately responsible for supervising support staff and actively working on job sites. This position will report to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to troubleshoot equipment, and as the need arises perform minor repairs
  • Network with industrial clients in effort to secure new projects (base & event business)
  • Ensure all employees and subcontractors have and maintain all necessary safety certifications
  • Maintain regular contact with Director of Industrial & Field Services
  • Responsible for planning, directing, delegating, and implementing established department procedures and programs
  • Order all supplies / equipment through approved vendors
  • Ability to handle and resolve problems
  • Ensure all projects are assigned a job number
  • Schedule equipment and personnel in order to maximize utilization
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings with crew and complete required documentation
  • Check organization and cleanliness of shop, office, and equipment
  • Ensure equipment and trucks are always well maintained and operational
  • Review estimates for accuracy
  • Communicate regularly with sales staff
  • Identify opportunities for revenue / service growth
  • Provide job training and assistance to team members when needed
  • Identify and implement cost savings strategies

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


• Minimum 3 years industrial services experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.

• HAZWOPER 40-hour Certification, and Confined Space Training must be obtained within 30
days (if not already completed).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and TEAMS.
• Daily travel to job sites.
• Must be available to work extended hours and variable shifts as required.
• Respond to emergencies after hours including weekends as required.
• Distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
• Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

•Must be able to wear protective clothing such as respirators, safety glasses, steel toe shoes,
coveralls, and hearing protection.
• Ability to operate light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, sky traks, etc.
• Must be able to climb ladders, work from stationary platforms from elevated heights and
confined spaces.
