Essential Tasks/Major Duties

Defines high level test plans, creates test cases and executes them (both manually and automatically) for functional, integration, system and regression testing

Investigates and analyzes test results to find out root causes of failures by debugging system, application and server logs

Complete defect management activities to support software development life cycle

Responsible for building and maintaining a library of automated tests that support our application portfolio

Writes complex SQL queries to verify data flow between multiple components and systems

Participates in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure test automation is promoted and applied effectively across multiple teams

Accountable for working as a member of a project team to develop and maintain Automation scripts using Cucumber\Selenium and UI Automation framework

Communicates project status and plans and anticipates delays and obstacles

Collaborates with other teams to manage internal and external timelines and deliverables

Support required automation that aligns to DevOps processes

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

5-7 years of experience in automated testing using Selenium Web Driver/Java/.Net in a Quality Assurance Domain

3-5 years of experience in Agile Development Practices and Scrum methodologies

3-5 years of experience in Acceptance Test Driven Development

Proficiency in multiple testing platforms, prefer experience with Azure DevOps, Atlassian, GitLab

Insurance knowledge preferred

Strong Java development experience preferred

Strong DevOps experience preferred

Adaptability to Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development Process

Strong knowledge in designing and adapting to established Test Automation Framework

Ability to stay on task and multi-task in a remote work environment

Ability to occasionally travel - up to 10%.
