Chief Financial Officer

Our client is in need of a highly-skilled and highly motivated Accounting and Finance Professional to fill the role of their Chief Financial Officer.


The Chief Financial Officer will report to the President of the company and will be a core member of the senior leadership team. Additionally, the Chief Financial Officer will have a dual reporting structure role supporting the financial framework of the company to promote and enable a sustainable financial model that allows the organization to thrive.

The Chief Financial Officer will oversee the following functions:

  • Oversee financial accounting and materials departments
  • Review and provide support for annual budgets, monthly financial statements, financial forecast and other analytical reports
  • Oversee cash flow projections and consult with banking and investment advisors when necessary.
  • Participate in development and strategic business plans and /or decisions
  • Maintain appropriate internal control procedure to protect integrity of current systems and protections of company assets.

  • Maintain working relationships with banking, auditing, legal and other outside professional consultants.

The Chief Financial Officer will work closely with the management team and be the first point of contact on Tax, Audit, Legal, Bank & Treasury and Insurance matters & issues


  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA preferred; current Certified Public Accountant license is required.
  • A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible financial and accounting leadership experience.
  • Prior experience as a CFO, Controller or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in an International Environment with European HQ would be an advantage
  • Experience with capital equipment manufacturing and percentage of completion accounting preferred


  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, staff and the board of directors.
  • Demonstrated ability to use appropriate judgement, independent thinking and creativity when resolving company issues.
  • Ability to effectively handle challenging situations.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
