Our corporate client in Farmington Hills, MI needs to hire an HR Generalist /Benefits Administrator to provide support.

JOB TYPE: Full time. Open ended contract. Immediate work

PAY: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

ENVIRONMENT: Temporarily Remote. Open to Southeast Michigan candidates only

SCOPE: Assist the Benefits Manager in completing Human Resources tasks.

DUTIES:

  • Handle HR Generalist activities such as: Administering FMLA, Disability, Cobra, and other company programs.
  • Assist in getting (Carrier) invoices paid via Accounts Payable.
  • Update information in HRIS Software (Workday).
  • Assist in providing support and communications for the Benefits program.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in HR or Business helpful. Will accept solid HR Work experience without the degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience in Human Resources supporting benefits programs.
  • Skills with MS Office: Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
