Our rapidly growing retail cannabis client is seeking a TALENT ACQUISTION SPECIALIST remote on a temporary to hire basis for their office in Troy, MI

Required to train in the office for 2 weeks

DUTIES

  • Provide recruiting administration and coordination support to hiring managers.
  • Implements creative sourcing and networking strategies.
  • Effectively open and post new requisitions to company and external job boards.
  • Schedule interviews for the internal team, and coordinate with candidates.
  • Greet and escort all incoming candidates for interviews.
  • Process and review background checks, employment authorization and offer letters.
  • Maintain daily and weekly reports on recruitment activities.
  • Provide phone and email support to prospective employees and hiring managers.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers internally and externally.
  • Deliver consistent results of Talent Acquisition processes, policy and procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Executes the new store opening process and/or help others when needed.
  • Act as a company ambassador and advocate, with potential candidates and associates.
  • Drive continuous process improvements in a demanding and rapidly changing business environment.
  • Participate in cross functional projects on the Human Resources team.
  • Promote company as the employer of choice to all potential candidates by providing information regarding the company culture, benefits, and opportunities.
  • Other duties as directed by the HR Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or any other related field.
  • 1-2 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present and facilitate.
