Seeking a General Manager in Middletown, Ohio.

This is a DIRECT HIRE role with competitive pay and a benefits package that includes medical/dental/vision, paid holidays and time-off, short-term disability, long-term disability, matching 401k, and life insurance.

The General Manager will develop, direct, and oversee overall operations and sales. This facility’s operational focus includes wastewater treatment, used oil recycling, solidification, and product destruction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and Cultural Transformation of One or Multiple Industrial Wastewater treatment facilities

The treatment facility includes the following:

  • CWT facility with treatment equipment
  • Fleet – Leased or owned fleet that transports Industrial Wastewater to and from the facility
  • Facility, Fleet and Management Team members
  • Ensure that the facility meets all Environmental Regulatory Compliance

Other interactions:

  • Closely work with Sales team to grow a profitable business
  • Build Safety, Quality & Efficiency into Processing, Fleet and Business Processes, including ISO Certification
  • Lead Supply Chain (Materials) to improve delivery and cost & quality of purchased goods
  • Lead development of capacity flexibility so that the facility can adapt to a processing streams that come into the facility
  • Lead all change initiatives for Facility and Fleet including implementing the Management Systems (Lean -Six Sigma implementation)
  • Support Business Case Development for projects -- estimate capital, expense, and human resource requirements
  • Ensure that the plant meets all Environment, Health, Safety and Security Standards

Experience Preferences

  • Minimum 10 years of Management Experience
  • Industrial Wastewater experience
  • Managing a team of Skilled Managers, Fleet and Shop team members
  • Budget and Forecast management
  • Lean Manufacturing Certifications
  • CPIM and/or CSCP certification thru APICS

Educational / Certification Requirement

  • BS in Any Engineering Required.
  • Industrial/Manufacturing or Chemical Engineering are preferred fields of study
  • MS or MBA Preferred
