SUMMARY

Our client is a privately held, growing company in the Metro Detroit area. They are seeking a Human Resources Manager to add to their growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the HR Manager

  • Implement and direct all HR functions within the organization, which is a multi-site organization.
  • Collaborate across all levels and areas in the organization to build relationships and trust
  • Work with HR team and other managers to best develop staffing strategies to identify talent inside and outside the organization
  • Oversee payroll for the entire organization to make sure that’s completed accurately and timely
  • Primary internal recruiter for all salary and hourly positions, including technical and office roles

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of the HR Manager

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR required
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources covering all areas, 2+ years in Managerial capacity
  • Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
  • Team player who can work well with other functional groups
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality
