Our Client in Auburn Hills, MI is looking for a Regulations and Government Relations Engineer (Testing)


  • In depth knowledge of battery electric vehicles
  • In-depth knowledge of working principles of internal combustion engines
  • In-depth knowledge of alternative propulsion technologies such as hybrid systems
  • Vehicle system knowledge
  • Understanding of federal requirements as they pertain to vehicle performance and emissions testing
  • Understanding of US and international regulatory requirements as they pertain to engine and vehicle testing
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret code of federal regulations and communicate the findings effectively
  • Ability to understand and adapt to vehicle and powertrain testing environments
  • Understanding of basic principles of engine and powertrain calibration
  • Bachelor engineering degree, preferably Masters (can be ME or EE)
  • Prior exposure to regulatory requirements
  • At least 3 years experience
